Cannon Beach Wedding {Leah & Paul}

Leah and Paul traveled from Minnesota to Oregon for their Cannon Beach wedding last summer. Cannon Beach holds a special place in Leah’s heart as she grew up going there every summer with her family. This was Paul’s first time to the Oregon Coast and Leah was excited to share it with him.

The couple share 5 children between the two of them and the kids all played a special part in their wedding day. As Leah got ready at their beach rental house, her daughters and other family members watched and helped get ready for the occasion. The ladies all had a bathroom dance party before Leah and Paul toasted on the deck together.

Paul serenaded Leah with his guitar as they walked from the beach house down to the beach. This was probably the most foggy day I have ever experienced at the Oregon Coast. While we were right next to Haystack Rock during the wedding ceremony, we never even caught a glimpse of the iconic landmark due to the fog.

The couple’s children each read an excerpt during the ceremony and they all participated in a sand ceremony as they joined their families. It was a beautiful ceremony on the beach.

When the ceremony concluded, the couple and their guests stayed at the beach for a very special song. Paul played the guitar as his niece sang. It was such a special moment to witness. Then we took family photos on the beach before the children and other guests went back to the beach house.

After the family went back to the beach house, Leah, Paul, and I took photos of them on the foggy beach.

The celebration continued back at the beach house with all of their guests. The children read a poem as they all toasted to the new couple.
