Cannon Beach Proposal {Russell & Courtney}

Russell reached out to me about a Cannon Beach surprise proposal for his girlfriend Courtney while they were visiting the Oregon Coast. This sweet couple came to Oregon from North Carolina and had never been to the area prior to this trip. Russell had done his research though, and knew that he wanted Haystack Rock to be a prominent feature for the proposal and for the photos. Russell decided he wanted to have a picnic on the beach prior to the proposal and I recommended that he reach out to Cannon Beach Party Rentals for the occasion. They did such a beautiful job on the picnic, complete with chilled Prosecco, a delicious charcuterie board, flowers, candles, and the perfect comfy coast seating. It was an absolutely gorgeous setup for the occasion.

Russell and I had coordinated where he and Courtney would arrive on a beach walk from the Stephanie Inn where they were staying. I hid out from a distance while they chatted, ate, and enjoyed their picnic for a bit before Russell got down on one knee and asked Courtney to marry him.

They could not have asked for a better evening on the Oregon Coast for this special occasion. After the proposal, we took photos while they danced on the beach, laughed and laughed, and told stories about how this day came to be for them. The Oregon Coast sunset was gorgeous and it was truly an honor to capture this proposal.
