Family Session {Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival}

One of my favorite parts of Oregon in the spring is the Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival near Woodburn, Oregon. Tulip festival sessions are some of my absolute favorites and the beauty of this place is one that must be seen and experienced in person. The thing that made this tulip festival family session even more special was that I got to see Karlen and Andrew again and meet their adorable, chatty, smart, spunky daughter for the first time. I had met Karlen and Andrew for their gorgeous Oregon Coast maternity session a couple of years prior, so this felt fully circle to meet their daughter. It was even more special because they were expecting another sweet girl at the time of this session. Their older daughter has since become a wonderful big sister.

It was such a fun evening watching this little girl experience the tulip festival and walk through the fields, keeping her mom and dad on their toes. The lighting and weather was absolutely perfect for an Oregon spring evening. Their 2 sweet pups were able to join for some photos at the end of the session, just as they had for our prior session. I love that the tulip farm allows dogs so your furry family members can be a part of your session as well if you would like.

I look forward to the tulip festival every single year and already have my season pass for 2022. If you would like to meet me and frolic in the tulip fields, let’s make it happen! Dates are dependent on Mother Nature and when the tulips are in bloom, but late March until early May is pretty typical for the tulips.
