Cannon Beach Engagement Session {Nicole and Nathan}

I met Nicole and Nathan last spring at the Oregon Coast for their Cannon Beach engagement session, and I can't wait to see them there again this spring for their wedding. When Nicole first contacted me about their wedding plans in Rockaway Beach, we also chatted about locations for their engagement session. Since they were traveling from out of state, the planning required consulting tide tables and scoping out the weather as their session date approached. Hug Point is a special place for Nicole from her childhood and they wanted photos to celebrate that location. Hug Point is just outside of Cannon Beach and is one of my favorite places on the northern coast, but the beach and waterfall in that area are only accessible at lower tides. We started their session in Cannon Beach and then drove to Hug Point for more photos later on that evening.We lucked out with a windy but gorgeous day at the beginning of June. I always tell clients that the weather is going to do what it's going to do at the coast, but we will always make it work and it will always be beautiful. This day with Nicole and Nathan was just perfect. I can't wait to celebrate with them and their family and friends in just a few short months!Are you planning an Oregon Coast adventure this year? Heidi Heaphy Photography is now booking 2020 elopements, weddings, families, family reunions, and other portrait sessions. I would love to meet you at the Oregon Coast, in the Portland area, or wherever your adventures take you this year. I am always happy to suggest Oregon Coast locations based on tides, backdrop, and the look and feel you want for your session. Or if you are already familiar with the area, I would love to meet you where you gather with your loved ones. To see more Oregon Coast sessions and weddings, check out more blog posts HERE.
