Cannon Beach Elopement {Vanessa & David}

I had the honor of photographing Vanessa and David last fall for their Cannon Beach elopement photo session. Vanessa reached out to me in the summer after they had recently eloped in the city, telling me they didn’t have professional photos taken on that day. So they put their wedding attire back on and met me on a gorgeous evening at the Oregon Coast.

We practically had the beach to ourselves on this October evening in one of my favorite locations. Vanessa and David were so fun to photograph and so photogenic together. The sun shining over the rocks and through the trees is always my favorite. The tide was low and going out, so they had plenty of space on the beach and in the wet sand. Vanessa and David dipped their feet in the waves for a bit towards the end of our session, they danced on the beach, leaving footprints imprinted on the sand.

I love the variety of this Oregon Coast location with the rocks, the beach grass-lined walkway, and the views of the iconic Haystack Rock. It shows just how magical the coast is with the forest meeting the ocean. It was the perfect place for Vanessa and David’s wedding photos.
