Portland Senior Photographer {Hadley}

Hadley’s high school senior session at her home in Portland, Oregon was so much fun. I love that she wanted photos taken in the place where she grew up, in the home in which her mom had remodeled and decorated in the most beautiful way over the years. Hadley included her cat in some of the photos, her front porch swing, her bedroom window, and her hammock that hung in the gorgeous gardens. It was evident how much of her story was in this place because even some of the neighbor kids stopped by to take some photos with her. Both her mom and her dad joined her in some of the photos.

Hadley is such a sweet, driven, kind, beautiful girl and I loved getting to know her better. I also love that I have had the privilege of photographing her mom’s branding session, as well as her aunt’s wedding at Cathedral Park in Portland.

Senior sessions are some of my absolute favorite sessions to photograph. I love that each one can be as unique as the person in the photos. I am always up for an adventure for your senior session, whether you want to hike to your favorite waterfall, run on the Oregon Coast, find a pretty flower garden, or meet at a place that has meaning to you. I am always happy to suggest locations for senior sessions based on the look and feel that you would like for your session as well.

While senior sessions can be scheduled at any season of the year, one thing to keep in mind is the deadline for yearbook submissions in the fall to make sure you have time to get your photo submitted. It’s never too early to plan your spring, summer, or fall senior session before the busy last year of high school creeps up and flies by.
